What are millets

Millets are not what you would expect to commonly find on your table. They are a group of highly variable small-seeded grasses, widely grown around the world as cereal crops or grains for fodder and human food. They are hardy, grow in arid conditions, are as energy-rich as rice and wheat and are in fact higher on nutrients than both rice and wheat.
